We hope you’ll find some interesting and useful articles on this site over time. We’ve been working hard to bring you content that can help you make the most of your online presence.
We took time out from writing articles over the last few months, to really think about what direction we’d like to take, and to define the type of content we want to bring you. Having done that, we’re back with a vengeance! Continue reading
A little while back I wrote an article about planning for your site before you begin the process of engaging a web design agency. Today I’d like to talk a little about what to expect after you launch your shiny new site. After launch the biggest trap is believing the job is done! I like to use the analogy of having a child. The 9 months leading up to the birth are exciting, uncertain, full of expectation. The reality of a newborn can be a bit of a shock. And yes I speak from experience! How often do you give thought to your company domain name? If you’re like most people you register your domain name and forget all about it and rely on receiving automated reminders to renew when the time comes. They’ve got their heart set on the new brand but cannot use it with the domain name they want. Do they scrap the whole thing and start again, or live with a domain name variation that is close? In hindsight it would have been a simple thing … Continue reading
